About the Role:

Currently, we are seeking a motivated and qualified individuals to join our growing Surface Mining team for work currently available in Ontario. There are multiple open positions that we are actively looking to fill to support the continued success of our operations. This position offers fly in/fly out (FIFO) and accommodations, a competitive pay structure, and benefits/pension package.

The key responsibilities of the Surface Mining Driller include but are not limited to:

  • Operation of Top Hammer and DTH Drills
  • Operate surface drilling equipment for mining, quarrying, and road construction projects
  • Safely and efficiently execute drilling operations according to project specifications
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine inspections
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

    Qualifications

    • 3 years minimum experience surface drilling in pits, quarries, and road construction
    • Proficient in operating drilling equipment, including Top Hammer and DTH Drills
    • Surface Common Core (770210) and U504 Module Production Drilling is an asset
    • Successful applicants will be asked to provide a valid Ontario driver’s abstract or equivalent
    • Must provide a valid Criminal Record Check for the purpose of obtaining a NRCAN letter of approval
