About the Role:

We are currently seeking a motivated and qualified individual to join our growing team as a Electrical Coordinator. There is 1 open position available to support our projects in Sudbury, ON. We are actively seeking to fill these positions to support the continued success of our operations.

The key responsibilities of the Electrical Coordinator are; but not limited to;

  • Issue RFQ’s to vendors, source and procure material following Technica Procurement Code of Ethics.
  • Facilitate shipping and receiving of electrical material. Verify material on packing slip aligns with material on requisitions. Package and label materials for shipment to sites.
  • Review project SOW, TDOW, DWG’s and Specs, prepare project-specific ITP’s and ITR sheets.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate with site on material lead-times, material packaging and requirements, site visits, quality plan requirements and walkthroughs.
  • Assist with the submission and documentation of electrical specific change orders, RFIs and shop drawings as required.
  • Prepare and submit invoices to clients for stand-alone electrical projects as required.
  • Assist with project proposals and attend site visits as required.
  • Fabricate and assemble electrical panels in the shop as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in electrical engineering studies
  • Familiar with electrical construction and maintenance
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate projects
  • Electrical background
  • Excel experience is considered an asset
  • Willing and able to undergo pre-employment testing as a condition of employment
